Brandon Crawford made his first appearance in the big leagues at short stop for the Giants.  His first major league hit was a grand slam.  He chased starter Shaun Marcum who took the loss.  He is now 6-2, 2.80.  Marcum pitched very well leading up to the big shot.

Richard Weeks gave the Crew an early lead with a 2 run home run.  Sadly it did not last.

Cy Young winner Tim Lincecum, a documented weed smoker,  pitched seven solid innings to improve to 5-4, 2. 22.  He was seen staring at the racing sausages.

The Brewers threatened to tie it in the 8th but Prince Fielder got gunned down at the plate.  Richard Weeks struck out in the 9th with the tie run on second to end it.
